Birthday is a special occasion for everyone. Specially for kids, it is the day when they want to get treated with extra love and pampering. And of course, as a parent, we also want to make our child or loved one feel special on their big day. Throwing a unique birthday party is one of the best ways to make your child feel special and celebrated.  

But on practical side, organizing a birthday day is so stressful for parents. It is the time when as a parent, we have to consider and manages lots of things. Invitation, venue selection, decoration, food and part entertainment, we had a long to-do list for making our kid’s party a fun- loving and amazing event. 

Being a mommy of two girls, I had taken that stress so many times and I know that it requires lots of pre-planning, creativity and imagination to satisfied your little guests. Along with other things, having a “Good party entertainment” is one of the most important factors that could make your party a big hit or miss.

I am sure you all would be agree that with changing time, life had been changed at various level. Being a millennial, I had observed that changing graph so closely. I remember, as a 90’s child, we had a simplicity in every aspect of life. Even birthday celebration had a routine pattern and kids used to get happy and satisfied with the things that parents had planned for them. 

But now, with changing time “kids entertainment” during party has become a challenging subject for parents. Kids want varieties and something different from routine party entertainment set up.

This one is personal favorite option of my girls. They always loved and had loads of fun, when they get a chance to be an animal or character with the amazing art of “Face painting”. Face painting always work great and little guests will be thrilled to get their faces painted with their animal, characters or flowers. For your next kids party, “face painting” is an amazing option to keep your little guests entertained.   You can book a talented and reputed team of face painters (instead of solo face painters) after research. Because kids (guest) may get frustrated, if they have to wait long for their turn.  

Petting Zoo Animals 

There are many animal packages that include bringing live creatures to your child’s party so everyone can learn more about them and cuddle up with them too. They tend to include typical petting zoo animals, like rabbits, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and donkeys. A pony for pony rides may be an option too. 

Karaoke Singing 

If your child likes to sing, playing pop princess or pop prince, karaoke is a great party theme. There are inexpensive karaoke machines you can purchase for a home party, or you might search your area to find out if one of the karaoke bars hosts daytime kids parties allowing you to book a booth and let the kids have fun singing, with drinks and snacks included.

Hiring a live band for entertainment is sure to be a hit among tweens and teens. You might be able to host the party at home if you’ve got enough space or have booked venue for the party, then you won’t have to worry about any of the clean-up later. Live bands are incredibly versatile, especially those with experience performing at all types of parties. They’ll know the right songs to play for the age group, and how to get guests in the mood and out on the dance floor. If your son or daughter has a favorite group, there are tribute bands that may be ideal.  

While it’s not uncommon for wealthy parents to drop tens of thousands of dollars on a party, as Business Insider notes, you don’t have to be rich to hire a band. In fact, it’s probably more affordable than you think too, with a band booking app you don’t have to go through a talent agent, eliminating fees charged by the “middle man.” 

Dance Party 

For older kids who want a more adult party that’s focused on dancing, hiring a DJ can be a great way to go as they’ll make sure the tunes are appropriate for boogying the night away. They often include dance move activities to keep everyone jumping and having a good time. With the popularity of reality TV shows like “Dancing with the Stars,” “America’s Got Talent” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” hiring a dance act is another option for a dance party. You’ll be able to choose the style and genre to provide the perfect option for your child’s party. 

Art Party 

If your child likes to get creative, there are a wide range of art party options available. A ton of fun for little artists, with a unique art party. Such as: you can book a decoupage party where the kids get to decorate papier Mache animals or you can organize a decorating party with the kids painting and decorating items like treasure chests, a jewelry-making party, a pottery painting, and more. Some companies will bring massive rolls of painting paper that are taped onto the floor, or outside on paving stones, so that younger kids can get wild trying all sorts of different techniques.
