What is hair fall?
Hair fall means loosening of hairs from scalp excessively due to any reason. it is often associated with other symptoms like thinning of hair and development of patches on scalp due to falling hair. Falling of 50-100 hair is considered normal.
Each hair follicle has its own life cycle. Hair follicles, grow, then rest for few months, then they shed and start regrowing. When due to some reason, this cycle gets interrupt, and results in increasing number of hairs fall and a smaller number of re-growing new hair, then the condition of excessive hair loss appears.
Hair loss could be mild or severe in nature depending upon the underlying cause of hair loss.
Hair fall is one of the most common problem that affect large number of people all across the globe. Men are more affected than women.
Usually, hair fall is considered as a cosmetic problem only and people often try various kinds of cosmetic treatments to reduce hair fall but in real sense, the cause of hair fall is not only cosmetic.
